Directors Speak is a documentary produced by Gail Picco.
It follows the lives of five emerging Canadian directors who, in 1999, helped create the largest anti-racism campaign ever produced for television in Canada for the Canadian Race Relations Foundation. Based on interviews with the directors in 1999 and again 2010, it is a story of how the issue of race has played out in their lives, their careers and in the entertainment industry in general.
