Challenge
The Partnership reached out to PIVOT for help with the design of a digital blog — 1in3.ca. The blog was named after the alarming statistic that one in three Canadians will experience cancer in their lifetime.
Solution
While policymakers and researchers were the primary audience, we ensured that all content was designed to be easily shareable with the general public.
Beyond the launch of the blog, PIVOT engaged with the Partnership to create shareable infographics for six months of blog content.
Impact
The site launched with Smoking Cessation as the inaugural topic. Using the latest research, we created an infographic that communicated the health benefits of quitting smoking before the age of 30.
This information visualization was submitted to the design website visual.ly, and within a week was chosen as Staff Pick garnering The Partnership more likes and shares with 7,000 views in a matter of days.
